What I know NOW about being a Mom – Give-A-Way alert!

Note’s From My Nest is having a Mother’s Day Blog Bash so I’m joining the fun! The requirement is to tell something you know about being a Mom now that you are one. There are a lot of things that have been pretty easy about being a mom – changing diapers, breastfeeding (I know I’m lucky on that one), fixing hair, giving baths, figuring out what she needs and most of all loving this beautiful little girl I’ve been blessed with.

But, what I know NOW that I didn’t know before September 2007 – that my heart beats outside of my body, that I can’t leave my Lil Sugar with her Aunty so that I can get some work done without worrying about her, (even though her Aunty has three beautiful, well-behaved, healthy children) how to get a wet baby out of a bathtub without dropping her (I promise Arthur, I’ll have a step-by-step on that Monday) and that I LOVE hooded bath towels.

I love hooded towels and I love the fact that my wonderful stepmother is an awesome seamstress. In fact my little one has been her inspiration to open her own business, Baby Duds and More, sewing and selling handmade baby clothes, layette sets and etc… (Oh, and also I’ll be selling some hairbows, car seat blankets and who knows what else in her Etsy store before long - as soon as I get some things made, photographed and posted!) On Tuesday I started a give-a-way here at A Blessed Crazy Life and today since I’m entering this Blog Bash I thought I’d post it again.
